The future, my friend, is a mystery wrapped in an enigma. We can’t even predict what’s going to happen in the next hour, let alone the next decade. But you know who thinks they can? Politicians. They’re always making plans and predictions for the future, but even if they do come true, who’s to say we’ll agree with them? And let me tell you, it’s always us normal folks who get the short end of the stick. Every decision they make seems to be against us. Take pensions, for example. In most European countries, you gotta be 65 to retire. But now they wanna raise it to 68, 69, or even 70! What gives? After 65, most people are already dealing with some kind of health issue. And don’t even get me started on how little they give you for all those years of hard work. 1200-1400 euros a month? That’s barely enough to cover the cost of living! It’s like they want us to be masters of money management or something. And even if you do save up, there’s no guarantee the bank will give you all your money back when you retire. It’s a total crapshoot. Maybe it’s time we stop planning for the future and start living in the moment. Who knows, maybe we’ll be better off that way. All we can do is wait, adapt, and observe.
