1. Why do you want to work for our company?
Read everything about the company where you will be interviewing. Write down their greatest successes and emphasize that you want to become part of such a successful company and contribute to even greater success. Mention the reputation of the company and emphasize that you want to create a career in the company, as you can very well imagine creating your own career path there.
2. Why do you want to leave your current job?
The best answer to this question is that you want change, greater challenges and novelty. Do not talk about how your boss and colleagues are getting on your nerves, that you are leaving because of bad working conditions, overtime, low pay and the like. This would make the employer think that you will also talk badly about him and his company after you leave.
3. Why should we hire you?
Read the job requirements clearly and list exactly these to the employer. For example, say that you are very communicative, that you like working with people, that you are very positive and goal-oriented, that you will give your best and give yourself to work. That you really like to help colleagues and customers, that you are creative and that you are driven by the desire to succeed.
If they emphasize education, emphasize that you have successfully completed this and that school and that you are always ready to get an education, because that makes you very happy.
4. Which field of work are you most interested in?
If you are applying for the position of secretary, you should not answer that you are most interested in creative work, managing people, etc. You should always state exactly what you would actually do in your new job. In this case, communication, contact with people, working with computers, keeping records and documents.
5. Do you prefer to work alone or in a team?
Unfortunately, most jobs these days require teamwork and are looking for employees who are very social and team-oriented. If you are not a team person, but you definitely want the job, you should emphasize that you really like working with people and make an effort in this area.
6. Describe to me your greatest business success!
Emphasize the numbers – how much you earned. Have you acquired new customers? Improved relations with colleagues, motivated them? Emphasize all of these.
7. List me 5 of your positive qualities and explain them!
At home, think about your best qualities, such as kindness, conscientiousness, openness, responsibility, accuracy, adaptability, positivity, hard work… These qualities must be compatible with the requirements of the workplace.
8. List me 5 of your negative qualities and explain them!
Do not respond that you are hot-tempered, angry, teasing, sneaky, rude, aggressive, etc. These are negative qualities that we all have more or less, but are the most undesirable in the workplace. Acceptable negative traits are, for example, that you are quite critical of yourself and others, that you are, for example, sometimes naive, you overthink things, you care a lot about other people’s opinions, you are shy and the like.
9. What would your current supervisor say about you?
These are tricky questions. In any case, for the most part, you should highlight only the good things, and above all, that you are very hardworking, creative, capable, obedient and good at everything you do.
10. Tell me everything you know about our company!
Before every interview, you must read all possible information about the company you want to work for. The more you know about him, the better impression you will make on employers. Avoid talking about negative things about the company.
