SO AND OTHERWISE-story

Blaz comes from a completely average, orderly working-class family; both of them

his parents are employed, he is the older of the two sons in the family. When he was

boy, his father was proud of him, because it seemed that he would not like learning

posed no problems, he completed his basic education with

excellence, without much effort. In the first year of high school, however,

 it stuck.

Blaž suddenly realized that he was interested in too many things,

and anything but learning, to which he was thus unaccustomed. There are days and evenings

sat behind the computer, as he easily convinced his father that

he needs online activities for schoolwork, and his mom is

trusted unconditionally because his grades were still good,

no longer excellent, but acceptable to parents. He himself noticed that he

real life kind of crawls through his fingers, but he didn’t see the difference

between themselves and their classmates, who practically “co-existed” with

the internet. At least that’s how it seemed to him judging by the conversations they had

had during breaks. At the beginning of the second year, Blaž encountered

an interesting forum that invited everyone who would like to become a member in a short time

earned a lot, without much effort, and, which was essential for him

importance, without a high stake in the game, the condition was continuous

smaller cash investments, which should pay off at least five times.

He registered immediately, as the offer was extremely tempting, and he

would achieve his dream in record time, even before the driving test

car, the one he longed for, and he decided to buy it

 as a priority life task.

Since he didn’t have much money, he suggested the game to a classmate and together

they started investing in one car; they calculated that they could sell it and be

then buy two cheaper ones, they will continue the game, earn again and

so on. At the forum, they were welcomed with open arms, they were with them

especially friendly and gave them instructions on how to play as long as possible. So

were unsuspectingly transferring all their pocket money to a specific account,

but they did not understand this request as wrong, since the desire for

the car also has its own price, they said to each other.

They’ve been that way for a few weeks

transferred pocket money to this particular account and feverishly waited for the day,

when they see their code on the screen among the selected investors.

But they didn’t get to see it even after three months. But they had to pay

deposit every week and the stake was higher with time. Because of money

they didn’t have, they decided on minor thefts. They first met at school

focused on classmates’ cell phones, tablets and

more valuable objects, and later their actions devolved into

bigger ones – breaking into cars – as they already had a permanent one

 customer for stolen goods.

After a few months, they were caught at work; both ended up in prison

for minors, and then Blaz overlooked it. He promised himself that he would

he will never do anything like that again. Well, he was wrong. Because it is

was a crime only in the theft category, without violence, it was fast

conditionally discharged. And maladjusted. But changed. Mostly because

his parents no longer believed him and because his classmates avoided him; it is the latter

was so painful for him that he changed the whole school. The home environment, however, is not

was never the same again. His father rarely spoke to him,

and the mother placed all her hopes in the younger brother. Once, in

fourth year, a theft happened in the classroom at the new school. Disappeared

is a mobile phone professional worker who was familiar with

his past, she showed, albeit in a roundabout way, but nevertheless

at him, making it clear that he was a suspect. Even though he wasn’t guilty, he was

felt the burden of the past and social responsibility as keenly as

for the phone to really slip out. What’s more, it was even harder because he felt like it

at the same time there was injustice. And what to do, he called a former classmate – of course

he was the only one who believed him unconditionally. Because he knew him. He believed that this

he did not, but that he easily could and will, if he has enough reasons to

 this.

Mental pain is a common cause that undermines a person

self-confidence and low self-esteem plunge into crime. They are like that

continued with thefts that became more and more daring and violent.

And landed in prison again, this time for adults.
